The Singapore Committee for UN
Women partnered us and hosted a charity fashion sale charity pre -loved labels
for two days at NYP. Our team assisted to design the event poster and provided
logistics and manpower needed for the event.

On the day of the event
We started sales at 10.30 am
sharp. Team members were allocated to various roles such as sales, packer,
refiller and cashier in the retail lab while the rest were assigned to
distribute flyers. There were two shift, morning shift from 10.00am to 1.30pm
while afternoon shift from 1.30pm to 4.30pm. Team members in the lab helped to
serve customers and managed the crowd. Sales on day 1 was very bad. Thus, we
assigned more manpower to distribute flyers to serve more sales. Sales on day 2
improved tremendously then after and we managed to hit over $1000.
After the event, we packed up and returned the fixtures back

In conclusion, the event went smoothly on both days despite
facing challenges such as poor sales due to low human traffic and excess
manpower. After executing this event, we learnt that advertising is important
to boost up sales for an event to be successful.
