On the 18th of December 2013, EMRS Team 2 was excited to execute a mobile pop-up truck event which was a first in NYP. It was held at the SBM car park 8 from 10am to 5:30pm.
On the day, our team gathered bright and early. Our first task was to ensure that the event area was barricaded and reserved for the truck. By 10am, all the product displays and decors were set. The home sweet holiday truck was ready to welcome its guests.

Team 2 had also prepared various materials in order to create awareness throughout the school such as EDMs (for Staff), posters and signage. We were given a sandwich board. It caught people's attention and made it easier to give out flyers as they became more keen to ask about our promotions.
The pop-up truck's Christmas theme was so attractive that every passer-by could not resist but look and they came to check it out what was on offer. As Micah, an SEG student, said, "It's so cool to have such a thing here in the campus as it makes it more lively and the theme is just perfect for Christmas!"
The Philosophy brand of skincare is relatively new to Singapore. Their products were attractively priced and appealed to the many lecturers. There were also lots of students who found some little treats for themselves. Philosophy provided free samples of their Purity cleanser which was very helpful in attracting people to the truck. They also gave out free cookies (so cute!) and pencils.
The philosophy truck went well. All of the free gifts were fully redeemed. We had a visitor count of at least 200 and the sales far exceeded expectations.
